Hi, my name is Lorrie and I’m fundraising for my 23 year old niece Kat and her girlfriend Vanessa. 2 weeks ago Vanessa had open heart surgery to repair 4 holes in her heart that she’s had since birth. Though Vanessa had symptoms her entire life- severe migraines, dizziness, etc., it wasn’t until she suffered a stroke 2 months ago that the doctors finally diagnosed her condition. Vanessa had to quit her job and take the semester off from grad school, and Kat has had the double duty of teaching 3rd graders and full time care giver while Vanessa heals. With limited income, these two are barely making ends meet. Any amount you can donate would be so appreciated by these two young girls who are just starting off on their adult life and got hit with this unexpected turn.
