My grandpa has called his Altadena house home for over 40 years. It's where he raised his two children, including my mom, and where countless family memories were made. He and my grandma shared a deep love for collecting prints from the 1900s, filling their walls with beautiful artwork that told stories of the past. Antiquing was another passion of his, and his home was adorned with unique, old furniture pieces that gave it so much character and charm.
Tragically, my papa lost his beloved house in the Eaton Fire. He had hoped to return after evacuating, so he only brought a few things with him—most importantly, photo albums filled with decades of precious memories. Now, everything else is gone.
Rebuilding will be a long and challenging journey, and Papa will need support in the years to come. If you're able, please consider donating to help him with his expenses as he works to rebuild his life and home. Your kindness would mean the world to him. Thank you.
