Beautiful & Brave: Restoring Hope Through Beauty

Hi, my name is Migdalia Candelario, owner of Migdalia Dominican Salon & Spa in Kenner, Louisiana.

On October 18, through our event Beautiful & Brave, we want to offer more than free beauty services — we want to restore confidence, self-love, and hope to women who are fighting or have survived cancer.

Many of them have lost their hair during treatment, and we know how deeply that can affect their self-esteem. That’s why we’re raising funds to purchase wigs and the professional materials needed for their installation — so each of these brave women can feel beautiful, whole, and full of life again.

Every dollar makes a difference.

Our goal is $1,500 to cover 5 full wig packages, including all materials for a complete transformation.

Este 18 de octubre, en nuestro evento Beautiful & Brave, queremos ofrecer más que servicios de belleza gratuitos : queremos devolver confianza, amor propio y esperanza a mujeres que luchan o han sobrevivido al cáncer.

Muchas han perdido su cabello durante el tratamiento, y sabemos cuánto eso puede afectar su autoestima. Por eso recaudamos fondos para comprar pelucas y cubrir los materiales necesarios para instalarlas profesionalmente, ayudándolas a sentirse hermosas y llenas de vida otra vez.
