Recent Widowed Father of Four

Donation protected
Hello! My name is Shannon! A life-long friend of mine recently became a single father of four, after his wife died suddenly.

Each and everyone of us longs to find our soulmate; the one person that "completes" us.  The person that can communicate to us without saying one single word, that loves us unconditionally, and that we want to spend the rest of our lives with. Frank was lucky enough to have met Wendy, the "peanut butter to his jelly".  Wendy was a single mother of two, "one boy, one girl", and February 22, 2008, they vowed their love to one another.  Frank, Wendy, and her two children shared a life full of love, laughter, happiness and memories and wanted nothing more than to share their lives with others.  They decided expanding their family would do just that and brought two more beautiful girls into this world.  Life was perfect!

Sadly, on January 5, 2016, just days away from her 38th birthday, Wendy unexpectedly passed away at home.  Frank and his four kids lives have been turned upside down.  This "perfect life" that we all hope for, changed dramatically.  Frank is now a mourning husband raising four children on his own. Due to the unexpected nature of her death and her seemingly healthy state, funds were not set aside in the "event" of...

My goal is to try to give these children, and Frank, every means possible to make their lives as "normal" as possible.  Every dollar that is donated will be used to support his children. The oldest child, 13, (and only boy) has a love for basketball and hockey. He plays on several teams and exhibits qualities of a well-rounded athlete, on and off the court. The 11 year old girl is into fashion and dance.  Dance class has given her characteristics that will make her a successful individual; confidence, motivation, a positive outlet, and has taken her out of her comfort zone.  Lessons and recitals have become part of her everyday life. The younger two girls, 7 and 5, are into gymnastics, music, dance, and of course, Frozen.  Tumbling and balancing, running and jumping, put huge smiles on these girls faces! These children need us!

I thank you for reading this and let's come together to try and help this family in need, cope with this devastating and unexpected transition.

In loving memory of:
