Widowed mom trying to navigate life.

I know there are a lot of people needing help these days, so I don’t think I’m more deserving than anyone else, I’m just at the end of my emotional rope.
My husband died two and a half years ago and it’s been rough.
He worked for Allied Universal doing federal security. He volunteered to go work in Nashville to help the captain there because they were short handed. He left home on August 1 (2021). He was working 12 hour days being a runner in the federal courthouse. About a week after he got there he told me he wasn’t feeling well, like maybe he was getting the flu. He told his captain and his captain brought him some Nyquil. It didn’t help. On August 14th he went to the ER because he couldn’t breathe. By nightfall he was on a respirator. He essentially stayed in a coma until he died on September 10th. They said he died from Covid related pneumonia.
There was a lot of really messed up stuff that happened. Someone stole my husbands phone, his watch (that a coworker/friend had given him), his phone, and two necklaces, which included his Italian horn. The only thing I got from the hospital was his wedding ring. I’m convinced someone from Allied went and lied to get his belongings because there was proof in his phone that his captain knew he was sick and never sent him for a Covid test. The hospital said maybe the funeral home had picked up his stuff, the funeral home said they didn’t have it.
While he was in the hospital I got texts from some of his fellow officers with well wishes, saying they were praying for him and such. After he died everyone just stopped texting, even his captain from here in Johnson City who had started helping me with his life insurance paperwork. He stopped responding to all of my texts and never helped me finish, which just solidified my suspicion that they were told to stop talking to me by someone at Allied. I finally got his life insurance three months later.
I used the money to catch up on bills and buy a used car, which I had to buy struts, tires, and a battery for right out the gate before I could drive it.
I started receiving death benefits because one of our sons was still under 18. That did help, even though it was only about half what my husband was bringing home every month.
Those checks stopped because our son turned 18 February 20th.
I have a regular job. I take care of a girl who is a non-verbal autistic. I’ve been working with the same girl since 2012. Unfortunately my job doesn’t bring in enough to cover everything. I can pay my bills mostly, but there’s no money left for food or gas. I try to pick up slots doing Door Dash, and I’ve posted looking for side work cleaning, I even signed up to be an Amazon driver, so I have been trying to make extra money, but there must be a lot of people doing the same thing because there are no spots available for Amazon, and only midnight-2am for Door Dash and I’m damn near night blind.
I’m just hoping maybe someone would be willing to help, so I can maybe pay some ahead on my mortgage, maybe afford some groceries.
We don’t have family to go to for help. My parents have been gone, and my husband’s mom is in a nursing home. My husband, our sons and I were it. Now just the three of us.
Like I said, I’m just hoping for a little boost. I don’t think I’m more deserving than anyone else, I just thought I’d put myself out there.
If you’ve read this far, thank you for your time, and God Bless.
