My name is Chalysse Ah Chan-Bowlin. I am organizing this Gofundme specifically for my father’s company, Wide Open Construction. If you are on the island of Maui or have ever heard/met my father, Michael Young, you know just how much he does for the entire community of Maui. As an individual and as a company he works tirelessly to support the local people of Maui.
As a result of the Lāhainā Wildfires my father lost a lot personally, including his entire house, his belongings and family. As a company, he now suffers the loss of tools, machinery and a company vehicle that perished.
If you know my dad, he is never one to ask for anything. Even at a time like this with nothing that survived the fires, he continues to give. It is a very hard time for everyone right now, but if you have the means to contribute, we would be eternally grateful. Mahalo and take care❤️
