Hi, my name is Toya, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the hardest times of my life.

I’m battling multiple serious health conditions — cancer, lupus, lymphedema, degenerative disc disease, ADHD, alopecia, and memory loss, due to my cancer treatments and autoimmune conditions. Every day is a physical and emotional fight to keep going.

On top of my health battles, I’m also raising two beautiful children who were abandoned by their mother. Their father is currently in prison, and they have no one else. I stepped up because they needed love, stability, and a safe home — but we are doing it without any government assistance.

I’ve been fighting for Social Security Disability for over two years and am now in the appeal process. But the wait has left us with zero income. I’ve tried everything to stay afloat gig work, online jobs, local hustles everything except crime. But the truth is, my health no longer allows me to work, and we are drowning.

We need help to cover basic necessities rent, food, utilities, medications, and school supplies for the kids. This is not just about me. It's about keeping a roof over our heads and food on the table while I continue to fight for disability benefits and manage my health.
