Why Accountability is a Black, female led grassroots community organization committed to the fight against police brutality and racial injustice since the chokehold death of Eric Garner.
We have been active in the Bronx & borough wide since Aug 3, 2014.
During this time we have provided the community with workshops on Know Your Rights & How to be Effective within their communities by attending the Precinct Communty Council Meetings. We have participated in numerous resistance actions, given accurate information through our Know Your Rights cards, leaflets & offer community support daily.
Please help us continue our efforts in your financial support so we can continue to supply members of our Communty with our Know Your Rights Cards, leaflets, Body cams, walkie-talkies, travel costs to & from outreach as well as Swipe it forward Metro-cards & miscellaneous supplies. As our GoFundMe grows we also allocate funds to OTHER Grassroots Organizations & Individuals that need our support.
