Our community cannot go hungry!

There are 50 families at Whitman Elementary that are worried about how they will feed their kids once food benefits end on November 1st.

You can help!!

We are raising funds to purchase grocery store gift cards that will go into food boxes that will be distributed to families in our school that need extra help this November.

The goal is to provide $100 gift cards for 50 families by November 15!

Any amount will help!

Who am I? I am a parent of a kindergartener at Whitman elementary & am part of a group of parents who are collaborating with the school social worker Nicole Costello to meet the needs of families at our wonderful school.

Whitman Elementary is currently collecting pasta, sauce, and shelf stable parmesan for the November food boxes. If you want to contribute food, you can drop it off at Valerie’s house (5526 SE Ogden St) and it will get delivered to Whitman Elementary.
