Whitehouse pool renovation

Myself and Matt Akrigg were down at Whitehouse in Fowey when we got thinking.Unfortunately the pool has been deemed unsafe and as such has been left uncleaned to avoid encouragement for people to use an unsafe asset.  We have such fond memories of using the pool as children, and from the feedback since the idea came about, most locals and regular visitors do!  We are looking to renovate the pool, including repair/ replacement of the harbour side wall, replacement of railings, and possibly to add a non slip sealant to the surface of the pool.  We have been in talks with Fowey Harbour Commissioners and will be doing some specific fundraising events, will be applying for grants and hopefully getting some business sponsorship when we are in a position to do so.  However, to get the ball rolling, we would like to open this gofundme for personal donations so we can hopefully get the work started ASAP.  Please help us restore Whitehouse to its former glory!
