White Post Gas Station restoration!

Tax deductible

Standing at the crossroads of White Post Village since 1928 is a very unique, stucco gas station. It has been an anchor in our community since then, serving as a Sinclair filling station, then a US Post Office, then as a farm storage building. In recent years the old gas station has fallen on hard times, and was in danger of collapsing from neglect. Fortunately, the owners, longtime residents of the community, deeded the property (and a small stable/garage behind it) to the White Post Village Association (WPVA) early in 2017. WPVA is a community association, an authorized 501-c3 non-profit corporation, with local residents as members who share a vision of restoring the old station to its former glory, in its role as the local Sinclair station, approx. mid-1930s era. As a local non-profit with little income other than donations, we are seeking support from automotive enthusiasts, local residents -  anyone who appreciates and supports efforts to repurpose old structures to new life for generations to come to enjoy.  We hope to open the building up for neighborhood gatherings, art displays, a museum about our village  and its role in Colonial US History, and more! The old gas station is a contributing structure to our village being listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Please help us bring the station back to former glory! We appreciate your interest and support. Any amount is welcome.
