The Simms Community Impact Foundation (SCIF) was born from a deeply personal experience.

When our CEO, Amanda Simms, cared for her mother after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in Spain, she experienced first-hand the challenges many families face when trying to access support in a language they understand.

What began as one family's journey became a vision to help others facing similar circumstances.

Today, the Simms Community Impact Foundation exists to inspire and empower communities to care for one another through compassionate, inclusive and purpose-driven initiatives. Our first project is focused on supporting people living with dementia and their carers in Valencia, particularly members of the international community who may struggle to access local services.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us create resources, build connections and provide meaningful support for those who need it most. SCIF is an Irish non-profit company limited by guarantee. While SCIF is not a registered charity, all funds raised will be used exclusively to support the Foundation's community impact programs.

Together, we can create a community where no family has to face dementia alone.
