Hi, I am Noya, and I am fundraising for “When You Eat, They Eat”.

As people all over the world start to make plans around Christmas, like visiting family, buying presents and thinking about Christmas dinner, many people are unable to have those small Christmas wishes fulfilled.

“When You Eat, They Eat” is an annual event organized by SFLIG volunteers. This is a day in which more than 2000 orphans and other less privileged people, including the homeless, enjoy a day full of love, laughter and food. For these less privileged in this society, it can be a constant struggle to find enough food to survive. A battle that is even more pronounced around Christmas time. While others enjoy an abundance of food and gifts, there are many who cannot afford this.

For these less privileged, SFLIG organizes a Christmas picnic full of love, christmas presents and ofcourse food. “It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”

Part of the money raised through this platform goes to Christmas for these people, who otherwise would not have the opportunity to spend this day in a nice environment and with a full meal. The rest of the money goes to school fees and school supplies for children who are unable to pay out of their own pockets.
