'When will The Martin's catch a break!?'

Hey all! Well, My dear friends Josh and Katie Martin do not know I started this (till now), but, I couldn’t sit back and watch them suffer without me trying to do something! I met Josh 10 years ago over a holiday text, it was a wrong number, so we laughed about it and kept in touch. Ever since then, Josh and his wife Katie have become my dearest friends. I even got invited to their wedding!
They have always been there for me, when others needed help they were there for them. Now it's time to return the favor and give back and help them!
Early this year, I received a text from Josh, He couldn’t hold this secret and had to tell someone! "THEY'RE EXPECTING!!!" I've never seen this man so happy and excited to bring a soul into this world! When they found out the sex, He couldn't wait to meet his little girl, I even helped in choosing her name - AVA !!! Ava Jade Martin! Josh and Katie were so ecstatic!! Everything was going smoothly until June... The Martins received devastating news that Katie's placenta was not working properly and little Ava wasn't receiving enough nutrients to grow. All their excitement had turned to worry! After bearing the loss of a child prior, they just couldn't imagine going through it again. Katie was still working long days, and was asked to be put on bed rest. Finally after what felt like a lifetime they received the news that the only surviving chance Ava had was to deliver early. (7 weeks) ... a 50/50 chance they agreed to do so. Luckily and emotionally on July 3rd 2018, Miss Ava Jade came into the world. teeny tiny, but here she was!

Tiny Warrior Ava Jade! The strongest little girl ever! Everyone was so relieved and ecstatic! She made it!!! However, The Martin's were not in the clear. Ava still needed A LOT of care, tiny, fragile, not fully functioning on her own. Little Ava and Katie spent months in hospital. Leaving Josh to try to balance work and visitation. But he did it, he did what he had to do to be able to support his family. His current job wasn’t too pleased about his attendance, the times he needed to leave early to make the two hour drive to hospital and visitors only allowed to be there til 8, it was wearing on him. Exhausted, Josh had to find another job suitable to be able to drive hours to go see his girls, taking a BIG pay cut and adding more stress to the situation, he continues to be strong. As time passes, Ava gets stronger and healthier, becoming Ava the Tiniest Warrior Princess! Wonderful progress! She finally gets the ok to go home!
Though little Ava was released, she still had many frequent visits at the hospital for precautionary care. They make the time to make these important visits and see the progress - Their little girl is growing and doing everything a baby needs to be doing, catching up to what babies at her age should be doing. Smiling, squealing, cooing, rolling over, breathing on her own. Ava is a perfectly healthy baby girl! Look at those EYES!

Hallelujah! The Martin's finally had a glimmer of hope! They have this - their baby girl will be ok! All is finally OK! I haven't seen so many uplifting posts from these 2 showing everyone their little miracle!
Well... Until this past week... just when they thought they were on their way back to stability. More bad news - Due to Hospital costs and trying to manage expenses on less wages, The Martin's have fallen short on their mortgage payments... even though the house was privately bought from one of Katie's childhood mentors and lifelong family friend, she has recently fallen ill. Her current spouse unfortunately wants the house back to sell for more money and has given them an ultimatum to come up with $4000 by the end of the month or they are out. WTF!? That's some holiday cheer! This home was the future for Ava. Where she can have a place to grow up and they can plant their roots and grow old. Not to mention - they live deep in the Appalachian mountains - it’s not bumping property! How can someone be so cruel? No one should be left homeless after fighting for their daughters life! Especially when you do not need to be doing this! It's all greed!
That being said - Let's try giving these 2 humble, hard working people a break and (hopefully) grant them this miracle. These two are very prideful and dislike asking for help, but sometimes you just have to do it!
People have donated thousand of dollars to help someone make a salad? Ridiculous! This will be helping the future of a Family that has just been through enough!

Please help! All proceeds will be going directly to the Martin's. Let's make someones wish come true! in god's name! Thank you, all!
Happy Holidays!
Much love and respect,
Paola
