Wheels for the La Bonte Family

Hi, my name is Rhi and I am fundraising for the La Bontes. In March of 2023 Stephanie, Josh, Marty, and Bella left their lifetime home State of California for Jefferson City, Missouri. This was an incredibly expensive journey with moving expenses, new home needs, and time without pay between jobs. Fortunately, Josh found work at University Hospital in Columbia as an experienced technician and is pursuing his dream of becoming a physician's assistant. Stephanie recently accepted a position with the State of Missouri, and is loving being back at work. Unfortunately, state employees don't receive paychecks until a month into the job. Marty and Bella are teenagers in a foreign land, trying to make new friends which often requires going places.

To make finances worse, on Mother's Day Stephanie was driving their only vehicle in Columbia, Missouri when her car tire slipped off a road with no shoulder. The large difference in height between the side of the road and the asphalt caused the vehicle to plummet down the embankment, through trees and brush that ended up totaling the car. Luckily, Stephanie is relatively unharmed other than a lot of bruising. However, they already struggled with only one vehicle and now have none. With no funds for a down payment, that's where you come in! Any little bit can help. We are hoping to raise enough money to help the La Bonte's replace their vehicle, or at least have enough for a down payment.
