Wheelchair Accessible Van 4 Isaiah

This is Isaiah!  Isaiah is 4 years old.   At the age of 4 months, it became apparent that something was not typical.  Isaiah and his family, Mom, Dad, brother Elijah and sister Alexa moved back home from MO to PA to be closer to family.  Within days of arriving home, Isaiah's health took a turn for the worse and he spent the next nine months or more in and out of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh while doctors tried to figure out what was wrong.  Isaiah was experiencing seizures that some days numbered in excess of 100.  Local doctors suggested that there was no hope, but our family was determined to find answers and not give up on our little blessing.

Eventually, our little guy was diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder of MMPSI - Malignant Migrating Partial Seizures of Infancy.  Parental determination and research lead Isaiah's parents to a specialist that can care for him and specializes in his very rare illness.

Since that time, with a lot of trial and error, our medically fragile super hero's health has stabilized although even what we consider a common cold can place Isaiah back in the hospital. 

Isaiah now attends school at Easter Seals.  His mind is clear, but, he has little, if any, control of his body.  He is; however, our champ and an inspiration to others in spite of his limitations.  He makes us laugh, has a very unique and present sense of humor and shares his mind with us through his beautiful eyes.

As he continues to grow (and that he has!) the ability to transition Isaiah into the aging family minivan has become a challenge, and the cost of a wheelchair accessible van for Isaiah is outside of the financial means of his hard working and giving family.   Efforts are underway to address the cost of the van for his family and there have been numerous suggestions that a GoFundMe page be created to help supplement the cost of a van, if purchased new, would be approximately $60,000.
