MS is unpredictable. Over the past five years, my physical abilities have changed drastically.

I’ve gone from being in the best shape of my life — enjoying outdoor adventures in all weather — to now needing a walker to move through my home and assistance with many daily tasks.

The grief of losing my body has been heavy and deeply personal.

But through this journey, one thing has become clear: I don’t want to sit on the sidelines of my children’s childhood. I want to move with them. Explore with them. Experience life alongside them.

Why We’re Fundraising

We are raising $50,000 to purchase a Trekinetic GTE all-terrain power wheelchair, travel to the UK for access and fitting, and allow time for proper training and transition as a family.

This chair is uniquely designed for rough terrain — snow, trails, grass, beaches, cobblestones — environments that are currently inaccessible to me.

Unfortunately, this specific chair is not available in Canada. Proper fitting, setup, and training must be completed in the UK with the manufacturer and certified team. The travel is a necessary part of accessing this medical equipment safely — not a vacation.

This process ensures that when we return home, I can use the chair confidently, independently, and safely.
