Wheelchair ramp needed for access to home

A family in Brookline needs some financial help. An older couple living on a fixed limited income has moved their adult child who uses a wheelchair back into their home. To safely provide access into and out of their home, they have contracted for a rent-to-own wheelchair ramp which is putting a strain on their monthly budget, especially anticipating the arrival of cool weather and heating bills to pay.

The Neighbors to Neighbors fund in Brookline has pledged payment for their rental costs through the end of this year. The remaining amount, about $2,100, is still needed to make the ramp their own.

We set up this online fundraiser to help this family get closer to owning this ramp. Or, if you'd prefer to send a check, make it payable to the Neighbors to Neighbors Fund, with "Wheelchair Ramp" in the memo section. Checks can be mailed to the Brookline Welfare Office at 1 Main Street, PO Box 360, Brookline, NH. Any excess funds collected will be put in the Neighbors to Neighbors Fund to benefit future families needing assistance.

Thank you!
