Wheelchair Ramp Initiative

The Wheelchair Ramp Initiative is the idea to "Ramp Up" Stark County, Ohio. With help from your donations, Hammer and Nails is building safe and durable wheelchair ramps for people with disabilities and the elderly granting them easy access into their homes.

Hammer & Nails currently has 96 homeowners on the waiting list. There are 12 homeowners in need of a wheelchair ramp due to a disability; such as, car accident, stroke, multiple sclerosis, amputee, and other life altering situations. A wheelchair ramp will ease daily stress, safety issues, and allow for easier access leading to markedly enhanced independence. This will allow for many wheelchair bound individuals to become more active participants in the community at large. We are currently having a rough year financially being over budget during the 2019 fiscal year. To continue doing our work we are looking for donations anywhere we can get them and we really appreciate any contribution you can afford.

Hammer & Nails is a nonprofit Christian outreach based in Canton, Ohio. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for homeowners in the Stark County area. We believe by improving their homes; we are also at the same time, improving their living situation.
