Wheelchair Ramp for Wyatt

Donation protected
Wyatt Beard is the son of my cousin Erin Beard, and her husband Bill Beard. Wyatt is an energetic, fun-loving nine-year-old boy. He was born six weeks early with two brain bleeds. As a result of these bleeds, Wyatt has cerebral palsy, which restricts his ability to walk. He currently uses a wheelchair but works very hard at therapy. As he grows, it has become harder for Erin to transport him in and out of the house. Having a wheelchair ramp installed at his house would allow him the normal childhood experience of going outside to play. A wheelchair ramp would also give him his own sense of independence and freedom of movement as opposed to being carried around by his mom and dad (which is increasingly more difficult every day).

Bill is the sole wage-earner, as Erin stays home to take care of Wyatt. The estimated cost of the ramp materials is $15,000.00. There will be no labor costs, as Bill will be building the ramp. Please consider donating, as your support will make a huge difference in the quality of life for Wyatt, Erin, and Bill.

Thank you!
