In our neighbourhood, there are needs we don’t always see.
A ramp that means freedom.
A fence that needs repair.
A yard that’s been overwhelming.
A home that could feel new again with a fresh coat of paint.
In Ogden, we’re not just talking about community—we’re showing up for each other.
On May 23, volunteers from across our neighbourhood are coming together for Love Ogden—a day where neighbours show up for neighbours.
This isn’t charity.
This is community in action.
What We’re Doing
Together, we’re taking on several meaningful projects:
Building a wheelchair ramp so a neighbour can safely enter and leave their home
Building and reinforcing fences to restore safety and dignity
Landscaping a yard that has become overwhelming
Painting a fence and three indoor rooms to bring new life into a home
These are simple things—but they change everything.
Why This Matters
For someone, a ramp means independence.
For a family, a safe fence means peace of mind.
For a home, fresh paint can mean dignity restored.
And for our community—it means something even bigger:
We are the kind of place that shows up for each other.
What We Need
We have the people.
We have the heart.
Now we need the materials.
We’re raising funds for:
- Lumber for the wheelchair ramp
- Lumber and supplies for fencing
- Paint and materials for interior and exterior projects
- Basic building supplies (hardware, tools, etc.)
Every dollar goes directly into making these projects happen.
How You Can Be Part of This
