The Whatcom Chief Ferry Cam costs real money to run. I think it is safe to say that many benefit from being able to see the ferry line.

Costs even more to expand. However, we currently enjoy Whatcom County support for developing from one camera to three ( #2 at the island dock and #3 at the Gooseberry dock.)

Here is the minimum budget

If we buy the camera hosting and pay upfront for either two or three years, we receive a %50 discount from IP Cam Live. Three years is less work for me :)

There is a decent amount of time involved in making this stuff work, and I don't mind it... can't volunteer AND pay for it. As is, we should also remember to visit the Islander Store more often as they are a long-time sponsor of the Whatcom Chief Ferry Cam!
