WHAMAGEDDON in Support of Regeneration Brampton
Each year millions of people around the world take part in the annual game of Whamageddon in which the goal is to go from December 1st to December 25th without hearing Wham's holiday hit "Last Christmas". I'm asking my friends, family, and anyone else who sees this to play along this year in support of Regeneration Outreach Community. They are a Brampton based charity organization helping those in need find food, shelter, clothing and more.
The winter months are always a difficult time for those who struggle with housing, but this year may be especially important as Brampton's mayor is seeking to override the Charter rights of people who have been forced into living in a tent with no where else to go. So please join me this holiday season in having a bit of fun while supporting such an amazing cause. The rules are simple:
1. The game starts December 1st and ends Christmas morning.
2. Players must go as long as they can without hearing "Last Christmas" by Wham!
3. When a player recognized "Last Christmas" by Wham! they are out.
4. ONLY Wham's version of the song counts. A cover will not put you out of the game.
5. When you get put out come to this page and donate $1 for every day you made it without hearing the song. For example, if you hear the song on December 10th you would donate $10. If you make it to Christmas morning CONGRATULATIONS! Celebrate by make a $25 donation and brag to all your friends and family.
So put it in your calendars now and get your fill of Wham's Christmas hit before the start of December!
