Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG)
Update -
Sadly, Brodys parents have received devastating news that Brody hasn’t got onto the trial that they so desperately needed to happen.
Radiotherapy has massively reduced his side effects and he has shown what a truly remarkable boy he is. He’s back playing football with his friends and being the cheekiest boy we all know and love!
We are now pleading for any donations possible to help fund an alternative treatment for Brody, we need to do everything we can with the little amount of time we have to try find a way to keep Brody going.
Please help us, either by donating whatever you can or sharing on your platforms or with pointing us to any companies you think could help make a real difference.
Brody deserves the help, just like any 9 year old boy would. Thank you x
Brody is truly indescribable; his boundless energy and immense sweetness make him a remarkable young boy. He finds joy in football, snowboarding, and paddleboarding, and at just 8 years old, he's a whirlwind of activity. His heart is filled with love for his family, Pokémon, and the Liverpool football team.
However, on September 26, 2023, Brody and his parents world was turned upside down when Brody received the devastating diagnosis of a rare brain tumor, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. He's been undergoing radiotherapy, which has recently concluded, and now, his parents are eagerly awaiting the results of a biopsy to determine his eligibility for a trial treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The uncertainty of what lies ahead is daunting, but we are determined to stand by Brody's side and be his unwavering source of strength.
In this trying time, any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful impact. These funds will directly support Brody's family, alleviating the financial burdens they now face. More importantly, they will help create precious memories that will last a lifetime and bring a smile to Brody's face. We humbly request your support during this heart-wrenching period. No family or child should ever endure such a painful journey.
