In December 2025 my cousin Sam and his two friends, Henry and Adam, will be competing in the Worlds Toughest Row. Embarking on the gruelling 3000 mile journey across the Atlantic Ocean. Rowing two hours on, two hours off for approximately 40 days!
They are testing themselves to the limit to raise money for three amazing and worthwhile charities. MSA Trust supporting people affected by MSA, a rare neurological disease with no known cause or cure. Cure Parkinson’s funding research that could slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s and Seb's Foundation breaking down barriers to support young people academically and in sport.
MSA Trust is a charity close to home after my father was diagnosed with MSA in 2022. The trust has provided crucial support to my family during this time with a multitude of underappreciated help.
Wood Farm Vets will be completing their own 3000 miles over the 31 days of May by walking, running, horse riding and much more! This is to represent the 3000 mile row across the Atlantic and the 3000 people living with MSA in the UK altogether.
Funds will be split between Southsea Scullers to aid them getting to the start line and the three amazing charities that each of the three Southsea Scullers hold dearly.
