Help repair our Mural – we love public art!

The Rotary Clubs of Benton County commissioned a mural in downtown Corvallis on the Blackledge furniture store - 1st street between Madison and Jefferson. The mural was complete, but the protective coat had not yet been applied. Sometime the week of August 16th, someone vandalized one of the mural panels and spray painted over 5 of the children’s faces and started to write an obscenity. We are all heartbroken that this beautiful art piece was damaged. The artist will need to reapply a base coat and repaint the images damaged. Please help us restore the mural and protect our public art work.
