Family in need of some help, 3 car accidents

Hello, this fundraiser is to help my sister, Shanelle, her fiance, Michael, and their three children, a five year old, a two year old and a five month old baby. In the past year, their cars have been hit a total of five times; three of those times, both cars they were using were totaled and after the last accident, all of the children's car seats will have to be replaced for a second time.

The first time was in April of 2023, when a vehicle struck Michael’s parked SUV and totaled it; the insurance did cover what was owed on the car, but they had to use all of their savings for a down payment on a new one. In September of 2023, Michael's parked vehicle was struck again, hit hard enough to be pushed into Shanelle's parked vehicle and move it forward. Michael's car was deemed totaled, for the second time, and Shanelle's car now needed to be fixed. These first two accidents luckily occurred while the cars were unoccupied, but the car seats did have to be replaced in Michael's vehicle. In December of 2023, just weeks after being fixed from the second accident, a car hit Shanelle's parked vehicle, totaling it. Everyone was okay, but the family was in the process of getting into the car, nearly being seriously injured or worse.

Now, they both need a vehicle and do not have a down payment, they also need new car seats for each child. They are still working with the insurance for the claim on Michael's car about the second accident too, due to the insurance not paying them yet.

We are all so, so very grateful that no one was hurt or worse. Shanelle is trying to get something done through City Hall, like asking them to install a stop sign closer to where they live or something similar, to prevent this from happening again.

They are trying hard to make it through, just like everyone else, but with three cars totaled and three children under ten years old, things have become a lot harder. My sister has too much pride to ask for help, but she is a kind soul that has helped others in need many times before. I'm hoping that this will help her and her family in their time of need.
