Half Marathon for Wexford Branch Down Syndrome

Charlie is now 16 and is a member of an active and enthusiastic group of young people with additional needs who have enjoyed the help and support of Down Syndrome Wexford over the years. Since the pandemic fundraising efforts have become increasingly difficult with a massive drop off in the branch’s main source of financing- 1 weekend of church collections per year.

This is a great cause and by fundraising directly for the branch it will allow much needed financing to stay local and support our children in Wexford rather than being diverted centrally to DSI head office. I will be running on behalf of Charlie and will be looking forward to a hug from him at the finish line!
