We are reaching out to ask for your support for our dear sister and best friend, Deb. She has faced one heartbreak after another. After the devastating loss of her soulmate Norm, a fire destroyed her home and all her belongings in May. Her items in shed were stolen while property was vacant. Also her cell phone was taken while at Shoppers drug mart . There was no insurance and no community support in her area for the victims of this fire. It is overwhelming how so much can happen to one individual . Despite these setbacks, Deb was determined to rebuild her life and face the challenges of starting over. This was originally the reason we were setting up Go-fund-me. Tragically, we’ve now received the very sad news that she has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
Deb has always been a beacon of love and strength. Her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Even amidst the many trials she has faced her loving family time remained a priority along with her constant gratefulness she demonstrates for everyday.. She finds comfort in creating precious memories with her grandkids and sharing her warmth with everyone. Deb is the type of person who is giving to all . After her own devastation she was reaching out to help others she felt were worse off . She has a special way with people and during her years working in retail had many special connections with customers . Deb always had the time to listen and try to support anyone she crossed paths with.
We’re raising funds to help cover Deb’s medical expenses, provide for her daily needs, and help her find a safe and comfortable place to live with no stairs . Our hope is to ensure that, despite the uncertainty of the future, we can create as many special moments with her as possible and set up a little home . Every donation will make a tremendous difference during this incredibly challenging time, allowing her to focus on what matters most—making lasting memories with her loved ones.
Your support will ease her burdens and provide much-needed comfort and peace during this difficult period. Please share this campaign to help us spread the word.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
Thank you,
Joan & Steve
