We've given and helped but now could use some ourselves.

Hi, we are big believers in doing what you can, where and how can. We have hit a snag in the last month and would really appreciate your help in keeping us moving forward. We originally met at the First American Preservation Association and today we create historical jewelry and accessories with a modern twist and you can find us on the road during our peak season traveling on the Highland Celtic, Scottish, Irish, Viking and Renaissance festivals sharing our craft along with stories and culture we've carried along the way.

If you're local, you probably know us from the Family Matters of Flagler County location in Putnam County - Hollister. We found ourselves helping someone and while their dream never came to fruition we found ourselves in an area that had real need of a creative and constructive community to help the seniors find a place where they can share the wealth of knowledge they've accumulated and get some help in turn for teaching skills to the community and at-risk youth so we can build a tool library and community space for creative construction in an area that doesn't have many job opportunities, cable or Internet access.

Our needs are few but we would appreciate some help during these slow, hot months so we can continue to pay our bills, feed our animals and work on some infrastructure at home so we can continue to help others as we craft our jewelry and build stock for the upcoming season. We do have positive milestones coming but we need a little help to get there.

Helping others find their first steps to a new place, a place to unpack and solve problems, finding local services to help with mental health, nicotine addiction and counseling services to helping seniors out with troublesome apps and paperwork is rewarding in it's own way. Normally, we budget for such things and pinch pennies where we can. But, it's time to admit we can use a little support.

I'm a longtime volunteer for many causes and have always pitched in and gone above and beyond however possible, hoping it would even out in the end. A bit of breathing room would be greatly appreciated.
