West Point Town Square Funding: Phase 4
Tax deductible
The Blue Mountain Players have been performing live amateur theater in West Point since 1995. We are now embarking on a new and exciting project. The theater is partnering with the community to create a welcoming town square in the heart of this tiny Sierra Nevada foothill village. Currently a vacant lot, we envision creating a space to play, picnic and perform. The town square will be developed in phases.
Phase 1: Completed. The 1/3 acre parcel was purchased for $45,000 with funds that were donated and/or borrowed.
Phase 2: Completed. Electric power, water and septic service have been installed. Ongoing utility fees run approximately $250 per month.
Currently in Phase 3: Plans for the first building construction, a single stall restroom, have been submitted to the county. Planning is also underway for installing infrastructure to support lighting and irrigation for landscaping.
Phase 4: Installation of landscaping to enhance the beauty of downtown West Point and the attractiveness and usefulness of the Park. Plantings are to include mainly native flora with hardiness in mind and the goal toward being at least partially self-sustaining.
As a non-profit, 501(c)(3), EIN 68-0369088, any contributions to the Blue Mountain Players for the West Point Town Square are fully tax deductible.
Please join us in investing in the future to help make this dream a reality.
