Please Support The Lewis Street Pedestrian Plaza!
Hi, I’m Rina Porras-Moceri and I own Kettle & Stone coffee and tea in Mission Hills. I love my neighborhood and all the people who I get to see each and every day at the cafe. It means so much to be able to provide a space where people can connect with each other and see friends.

.
The funding that is collected will be used to construct the Lewis Street Pedestrian Plaza. On July 14, 2020, the San Diego City Council approved the use of outdoors for dining including within the street parking lane. The City will waive most of the permit costs and fees. With the help of Safdie Rabines Architects, Kettle & Stone has been able to draw up plans for a pedestrian plaza on Lewis Street that will allow the café to expand outdoors. San Diego Urban Timber will construct the plaza. The plaza will be ADA accessible and meet all of the City’s requirements.
By helping Kettle & Stone, we can help the whole block by bringing more people to the area to shop outdoors.
I believe supporting this project will make our community stronger and more vibrant.
I am so thankful for any support for this project that will help and provide a great community asset for people to enjoy.
