West Highland Way Relay - Retreat Centre
Hi!
On 1st - 2nd June I am taking part in a non-stop 24h relay race along the West Highland Way (100 miles/160km) to raise money for a project very close to my heart. I will be running from Glencoe to Bridge of Orchy during the night – approximately 11 miles. Definitely not the whole thing by myself - I’m already trying very hard not to get injured training for this section!
The Cloud Water Zen group has been working hard over the last two years, raising funds to establish the very first rural Zen retreat centre in Scotland. This will be a non-for-profit, affordable, and community oriented space where people can come for meditation retreats, periods of residential living and a whole range of different courses and events. We hope to be able to share this space with a wide range of like-minded groups offering activities like yoga, Tai Chi, mindfulness and so on.
We're convinced that the retreat centre has a great deal to offer and can make a real difference in terms of helping all who come along to live more skilfully and respond more effectively to the challenges we all face in daily life.
Please join me in supporting this cause! All donations big and small are very welcome and massively appreciated.
Thank you!!
Ciaran
