In these unprecedented and uncertain times, our graduating seniors are facing an end of year like no other. They are missing out on their athletics, their academic celebrations, their proms, and their graduations. West Haven PTA Council prides itself in being a contributor to the senior scholarship fund at WHHS. In past years, our contribution has been from our annual Founder’s Day Unsung Hero dinner. Unfortunately due to school closures and social distancing guidelines, our dinner for this year has been postponed indefinitely. While we are working hard to ensure the recipients are honored, the lack of ticket sales leaves us short of our fundraising goal.  WHHS PTSA’s main focus has also been to provide for Senior Scholarships as well as assist with funding other senior activities. WHHS PTSA’s fundraising efforts have also been cut short due to the closures and social distancing guidelines.

It is for this reason West Haven PTA Council and WHHS PTSA are combining forces to begin this new fundraising effort here.

We are asking our community to help us to meet our goal.  Please support our graduating class of 2020 who will already be missing out on so many of the things they’ve looked forward to their entire academic career here in West Haven.  Any funds raised in this campaign will go towards Senior Scholarships as well as senior activities for our WHHS CLASS OF 2020.

Any and all donations are much appreciated and bring us one step closer to our goal. Your donations are tax deductible as WHPTA Council and WHHS PTSA are 501c3 non profit organizations.
