This year has been challenging for many, to say the least. However, this doesn’t mean that the holiday season needs to be compromised. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many changes to everyone’s holiday traditions; however, giving back to those in need, remains a priority of ours. With the current conditions, it is challenging for traditional physical toy drives for the children who reside at The Hospital for Sick Children to take place. However, the West End Athletic Club family has started an initiative to raise money to donate to the SickKids Foundation Toy and Game Fund to ensure that children at SickKids still feel extra special, as they deserve to. The money raised through this page enables the Child Life team at the hospital to purchase toys not only around the holidays, but throughout the year. These toys and games are used primarily for the purpose of recreation and therapeutic play among the children.  Join us to rekindle the holiday spirit for the rest of 2020 and make a positive impact on these children’s and families’ lives.
