My name is Cali, my brother's name is Colin. Our dad, Wes, has Cervical Dystonia, also known as spasmodic torticollis. It is a rare neurological disorder that causes painful, involuntary contractions of the neck muscles. He has exhausted every other possible treatment that our insurance covers to no avail. He is running out of options to lessen his pain that is becoming unbearable.
A little about my dad—he's an amazing person who spends his free time coaching and supporting others. Since we were four, he’s been devoted to coaching Little League, dedicating countless hours to helping kids improve their skills, all without ever expecting anything in return. He’s also been coaching wrestling since we were ten, working with various gyms and inspiring countless kids who truly look up to him. He plays an integral role in our community. For over a decade he has tried to hide the pain he has experienced from this disorder but it is stopping him from doing the thing he truly loves: helping others. We want to help him the way he's helped so many of us.
Through the use of a new cutting edge treatment our dad can heal and live his life pain-free. With your help, he has a chance to have this medical procedure so he can continue the things he loves. Unfortunately this procedure is expensive and difficult for us to afford. We need your support. My dad has been in severe chronic pain for over ten years. We don't want him to suffer anymore.
Any contribution would help as we have to travel to get this procedure.
