Hi, my name is Wesley Richardson. I’m a Life Scout in Ridgewood Troop 5 and have been involved in Scouting since Cub Scouts. I'm an avid fisherman and love the outdoors. For my Eagle Scout project, I’m building a kiosk at the Tenafly Nature Center at a trailhead that is currently hard to find and has makeshift signs , many of which are nailed directly to trees. My project will also clean up the area and create a central place where all the signs and information can be displayed in one convenient and easy-to-see location. This will make the trailhead easier to find, improve the overall experience for visitors, and help protect the environment by removing signs from the trees.

I’m currently in the fundraising stage of my project and am asking for donations to help cover the cost of building materials and supplies. Any amount, big or small, would make a significant difference and help bring this project to life. Your support will help improve the Tenafly Nature Center for everyone who enjoys the outdoors and make the trail safer and more welcoming for the community.
