We’re Cutting Cancer Out
Hey my name is Niamh Traynor and I’m fundraising in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
A year ago my wonderful mum, Sandra, was diagnosed with cancer. As for many families this diagnosis came as a huge shock, it’s something you never think of happening to someone close to you until it does.
Needless to say the past year has been a rollercoaster for the entire family but for San in particular. But being the woman she is, I can happily say that a year on she‘s come out the other side and has well and truly kicked cancers ass.
She might not look the same as the chemo has given her a new look, but she’s still the strong, funny and optimistic woman who those around here know and love.
I am so beyond proud to call her my mum ❤️
I’ve decided a year on from the day she started chemo that I’d make the chop myself and donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust; who make wigs for kids with cancer, while also raising money for the Irish Cancer Society, for them to use to help other families like ours.
Any donation little or large would be greatly appreciated ❤️
