STEPS OF HOPE” – A JOURNEY OF REMEMBRANCE AND SUPPORT - On Sunday 22 September a walk from Alder Hey to The Atkinson in Southport. “Steps of Hope” is dedicated to the memory of Elsie Dot Stancombe, The Daughter of Jenni Stancombe who was Store Manager at Booths Fulwood and Booths Hesketh Bank stores. This event symbolises a journey where every step, whether taken by walking, dancing, or simply coming together in support, contributes to a greater purpose. The event is about healing, remembrance, and making a positive impact on those around us.
The funds raised will be split between three important causes:
- A Memorial at Elsie’s School.
- Charity of Jenni’s Choice: Supporting a charity close to the heart of our community.
- Elsie’s Family GoFundMe Page: Assisting Elsie’s family during this challenging time
- we will be transferring the money by bank transfer to the relevant people and sharing the story with everyone that helped us raise the money
