Wendy's Memorial & Children Fund

On Saturday we lost our dear friend and colleague Wendy Temlett, only 8 weeks after being sent home from work with double vision.

In early April, Wendy began experiencing symptoms at work that seemed minor at first but quickly escalated into something unimaginable. After being sent home to consult a doctor, she was scheduled for a scan that revealed a cyst on her brain. Further examinations showed it was a melanoma, but as her condition worsened, it became clear that the cancer had spread to her bones and liver. Despite the best efforts of her medical team, Wendy's family was soon given the heartbreaking news that nothing more could be done. She was moved to St Peter's Hospice where she passed away peacefully.

Wendy was a radiant presence at Reed, where she worked with a passion and dedication that inspired everyone around her. She often said, half in jest, that not even a lottery win could make her leave her team. Her love for her job and her exceptional care for her clients were just a few of the qualities that made her so special.

Wendy leaves behind 19-year-old triplets who are currently studying in Bristol, far from their home country of South Africa. They now face the daunting challenge of navigating life without their Mum's guidance and support.

As we mourn the loss of a wonderful person, we also wish to provide support to her children during this incredibly difficult time. We are setting up this fund to cover the costs of cremation, a memorial service and to provide financial support to her children as they continue their education and adjust to life without their mum.

Please consider making a donation to help alleviate the financial burden on Wendy's family. Any amount, big or small, will be deeply appreciated and will go directly towards supporting her children and covering the memorial expenses.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support you can provide during this painful time. Wendy's memory and spirit will forever be a beacon of joy and resilience for all of us.

Your generosity and kindness mean the world to us and to Wendy's family. Thank you for helping us keep her memory alive and for supporting her children as they face the future without their beloved mother.
