For so many years now, Wendal has put on such a beautiful experience for all of us at Cougar. It’s time for us to do what we can to give back and show our appreciation for the space he has created for us.
Every year he needs at least one other person to bring a huge amount of stuff for the campout and stay for the entire campout so that someone can help bring it all home. This includes the community kitchen, the slip and slide, the canopies, the carpets, the communal areas, hammocks, cuddle areas, et cetera. It’s physically impossible for him to bring everything out by himself in his truck.
In addition to this, the only place he has to store all of the Cougar gear is his man cave… At this point, the camp gear is taking his area over and he doesn’t really have a man cave anymore.
Some of us talked at Cougar this year about helping Wendal get a trailer for all of the gear and I’m taking the initiative to put that plan into action.
We will all still need to contribute how we can, but this will GREATLY help Wendal out every year and take a huge amount of stress off of his shoulders.
This is a surprise for Wendal’s birthday next year!!! Please no one tell Wendal or Celeste.
Let’s give back to this beautiful human and ease the load he carries every year to make Cougar happen for all of us.
Only donate if you can. Please don’t feel obligated or spend outside of your means. If you can help, obviously that would be amazing and extremely helpful. Even just sharing this GoFundMe will be super beneficial!
There are 111 people in the Cougar Family FB page. We can totally do this.
Updates will be added here when we start getting enough funds to see what kind of trailer we can get for him.
