Dear friends and family of Simon and Heidi. Hi my name is April and I am a friend of the Welsh family. I'm reaching out to you because just like you, I want to help this beautiful family through what I can only imagine to be the most difficult thing to ever endure, the death of a baby.
Ellie Madalyn Welsh was born sleeping. She died in utero just 3 days before she was scheduled to be born via caesarean. What started out as a normal day for the Welsh family, would end in heartbreak and the earth shattering realisation that baby Ellie would never be coming home. Born 6:48pm 7lb 3oz on the 25th of March 2017, "A picture of perfection" her daddy said. No amount of tears would bring her back but gosh, we tried. How could something so perfect, so precious be taken away...

I found myself, like so many, wondering what I can do. I've read the posts on Simon and Heidi's facebook pages, the outpouring of love and condolences and was moved by the amount of support surrounding them.
It got me thinking about the offers of help and how at some point in all our lives we've needed help, the offers are there, all you need to do is ask. But sometimes it’s difficult to ask for help .We worry whether it would be asking too much, would someone have time and then not wanting to impose on friends or family. Not wanting to appear needy and also, sometimes you may not be feeling sociable. How do you ask someone to help with washing but hideaway in your room because you don’t feel like talking?
So I thought that maybe the best way to support our dear friends is with financial support.
The money donated would be used by Heidi and Simon to pay for things like bills, groceries, a professional cleaning service, a lawn mowing service or just to buy dinner when they don’t have the energy to cook. This would eliminate the need to ask for help. It gives them the freedom to mourn the death of beautiful Ellie without the financial burden.
Any financial help would be greatly appreciated. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your donation to the Welsh family fund.
Rest peacefully sweet angel Ellie. xxx
