Welsh Fundraiser

If you grew up in Euclid, there's a 100% chance that you knew one of the Welsh crew. Nancy, Pat, Kevin and Colin. I was fortunate to be a student of Mrs. Welsh. She gave me my love of Roald Dahl, acting, and "singing to the back of the theater".

If you know the Welshes, you also know that their family has seen unfathomable loss over the years, first with the loss of their beloved Kevin, and then Pat.

Most recently, Mrs. Welsh took her last earthly breath, and went to be with her sons. Unfortunately, that has left her baby, Colin, with an unimaginable void. And if that wasn't enough, there is now an insurmountable mountain of debt piling up.

He intended to sell his boat, which is the only source of peace that has brought him through the hardships, so, with his permission, I offered to set up a gofundme to see if the community could help out, and prevent that sale from needing to happen.

I set the goal for $5,000, but I know it will take much more than that. And although nothing can bring his brothers and mother back to him, I'm hoping this can provide a little peace of mind so that he can spend the time he needs grieving and healing.
