Paul’s Welsh 3 Peaks x10 Challenge
Most people climb the Welsh 3 Peaks once.
I’m going to do them ten times.
That’s Snowdon, Cadair Idris, and Pen y Fan — ten full rounds, over 203 miles of mountain terrain, and the equivalent of climbing Everest 3 times .
It’s going to be tough, but I’m doing it for three causes that mean a lot to me:
⸻
Mind
Because it’s almost impossible to get an appointment when you need one most. Six-month waiting lists are far too long, and people deserve support before they reach crisis point. Mental health services need more funding — and more people on the ground helping others.
⸻
Many Tears Animal Rescue
One of my dogs came from Many Tears, and I’ve seen firsthand the incredible work they do. They’re completely overwhelmed with the number of dogs needing care and homes, but they never give up. They give every animal a second chance — and they need our help to keep doing that.
⸻
️ Cancer Research UK
This one’s personal. I lost my dad ten years ago, and my brother-in-law last year. Cancer has touched too many families, and I want to do something that helps fund the research that saves lives and spares others that same pain.
⸻
This challenge will push me to my limits — physically and mentally — but that’s nothing compared to what so many people and families face every single day.
Every step I take is for these causes, and for everyone who’s been through it.
If you can spare anything at all, please donate and help make every climb count.
And if you can’t donate right now, please share the page — it really does make a difference.
⸻
Follow the journey. Support the cause. Let’s make every step count together.
Thank you for the support — it means more than you know.
