Please help us stop the proposed Homekey Project in Millbrae. The residents of Millbrae had no voice in the $33 million proposal that seeks to convert the La Quinta Inn & Suites into a unsuitably large 100-unit complex for the homeless population in San Mateo County.

The County has been absolutely tone-deaf to our expressions of concern. County Executive Officer Mike Callagy has issued false, misleading and unvalidated information about this project. The project has not been properly vetted but is instead being rushed through in record time without administrative oversight or input from the Millbrae City Council or Millbrae residents. This is not how democracy works - the current process ignores the rights and voices of the hard-working citizens in Millbrae.
