Help Rach Save the Sea Turtles!

Those of you who know Rach know that animals are her passion, and she’s about to embark on the zookeepers trip of a lifetime! This Fall, she’ll be heading to a remote island off the African coast to conduct research at the Bioko Marine Turtle Program, where she’ll spend five months researching an endangered species of sea turtles. 

 

This opportunity of a lifetime is also an unpaid volunteer initiative, but too good to pass up. Leaving everything behind (job, apartment and belongings) to follow your dreams obviously comes at a cost – so I’m hoping we can rally together to support Rachel and her efforts!

 

Any donation amount would be appreciated, and would go toward:

·       Flight: $2,000

·       Medical Insurance: $600

·       Gear/supplies: $1,000

·       Breaking apartment lease : $900 

·       Storage for furniture:  $500
