As Danielle Lynch-Jacobson and Jesse Wysong already shared on Facebook, they have become the proud adoptive parents of Rowan Sawyer Wysong, born 4 pounds, 5 ounces. After the loss of their son Finn, I'm so happy their adoption journey brought them to Rowan and I'm so excited to meet the tiny guy!
Through Jesse and Danielle's adoption process, I learned more about the commitment and the costs involved (the average total cost of adoption is $40,000) In addition to adoption expenses, there is the last minute trip to Florida and extended stay, as well as potential medical costs. Not to mention the general expense of a new baby and unpaid maternity leave.
So, this campaign is to help them welcome Rowan into their lives. I pesonally cannot think of a more worthy cause this holiday season.
