Our son Ryu is a blessing we never imagined we’d experience in this way. He arrived after a truly rare and extraordinary journey — a full-term ectopic pregnancy at 41 weeks, something that almost never happens in medicine. Through the skill and compassion of the team at Cedars-Sinai, Ryu came into the world safely, proving just how strong and determined he is.

Today, at three months old, he’s healthy, curious, and growing every day here at home in Bakersfield, California. Watching him smile, breathe, and thrive has been the greatest gift of our lives.
