Welcome Home Veronza Bowers

After 50 years of captivity, we welcome Veronza Bowers Jr home!

Formerly incarcerated people come home with no belongings, no funds to purchase anything, and receive no salary or pension. It is up to our community to support our elders to help them get everything they need to re-integrate into society. They need everything from toothpaste, clothing and grocery money, to health care and a phone and computer. Our world has changed immensely in 50 years, and with your help Veronza can adjust smoothly. Your donations will allow him to live free without financial stress.

Veronza is a former member of the Black Panther Party, and a Master Healer and Musician. He plans to spend time with his family and loved ones, and record as much music as possible. He would love to record music live at Sacred Sites like the Pyramids at Giza and Machu Picchu.

Veronza thanks you immensely for any support now and over all these long years. He can’t wait to meet everyone and celebrate life outside the prison. Stay tuned for public statements from Veronza and more music soon.

My name is Rev Love. I have worked closely with Veronza and his legal team for years, as well as on other political prisoner campaigns. I am a musician, sound healer and yogi living in Brooklyn, New York. I also collaborated with Veronza on his album “Finding Peace in the Chaos,” which is available on all platforms.

All funds from this fundraiser go directly to Veronza to support his life outside of prison. He does not yet have a bank account or even a state ID so he has entrusted me to setup this GoFundMe, and send funds directly to Veronza via his family who he is now living with.
