We are middle school and high school students from West Los Angeles who want to make an impact in today's society by helping those who lack resources to get back into their daily lives. The reality of homelessness is heartbreaking, as individuals struggle to survive on the streets with little access to basic necessities. They are often forced to go without food, clean clothing, and personal hygiene products. But your donation can change that! Your donation will provide people experiencing homelessness with the essential items they need as they move into a home of their own. Items such as non-perishable food, basic hygiene products: (shampoo, body wash, toothpaste), paper towels, toilet paper and other items to set them up as they move into their new home.

We are working with a non-profit organization here in Los Angeles called Housing Works. They are going to be leasing up a brand new building called the Aster Apartments in South Los Angeles which will provide permanent supportive housing for 55 people experiencing homelessness. If we raise more money than needed for this project, we will roll forward the funds to support more permanent supportive housing openings across Los Angeles!

We are so excited to create welcome home baskets for these new tenants to give them a way to start their new lives as housed individuals in their own homes.
